讲座学者简介:
莫妮卡•可佐(Monika Korzun),1984年出生于波兰东北部边缘的苏瓦乌基(Suwalki),本科以优异的成绩毕业于多伦多大学社会学专业,获荣誉学位,后获得加拿大约克大学国际发展研究硕士学位,现为圭尔夫大学农村研究方向即将毕业的博士。她有着丰富的教学经历,除了求学期间担任多门课程助教外,曾受邀于加拿大瑞尔森大学、特伦特大学、安大略理工大学等高校承担相关课程教学。她的研究领域包括食物主权、难民与移民、食物价值链、食物体系和农业教育等,主持和参与了多个研究项目,多篇研究论文在系列同行评审杂志发表,并被收录进多部著作和教材中。同时,她也从事社区发展和政策研究,在公共媒体上发表了一些报告和文章。目前正在bwin必赢讲授研究深造类本科生课程《社会科学研究前沿:全球食物体系》。
Short-bio of the speaker:
Born in Suwalki, Poland, 1984, Monika Korzun graduated from the University of Toronto with Honour B.A. degree in Sociology, then she got her Master’s degree of International Development Studies from YorkUniversity in Canada. She will complete her PhD in Rural Studies at University of Guelph in the coming months. She has extensive teaching experiences as sessional instructor or course leader in different institutes in Canada, such as the Ryerson University, Trent University, and University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Her research interests include: food sovereignty, refugees and immigration, food value chain, food systems and agriculture education. She serves as researcher and/or project manager in several research projects. Many of her research papers have been published on peer-reviewed journals or as book chapters. She also actively participates in community development and policy research, writing articles and reports for public media. Currently she is co-teaching an undergraduate course of “Critical Social Studies: Global Food Systems” in the College of Humanities and Social Development.
